Do I have to show all 4 nutrition categories?
No, you can choose to have 1-4 nutrients printed on the receipt. For example, if you only want to show calories to start, that's as easy as clicking a button in the administration module. You can also decide which caterories you choose to display, and are not limited by the ones shown in our examples.

Can I choose to not print nutrition information at all, but use the receipt for other capabilities?
Yes, you can choose to suppress the nutrition grid altogether (click here for sample). This is a good choice for those customers who: 1) Don't currently have access to their nutrition information, or 2) Wish to focus on the nutrition education and marketing features of the Nutricate Receipt product prior to enabling the nutrition grid.

Our Company cafeteria is managed by a 3rd party food service company, can we still use Nutricate?
Yes. Nutricate has worked with a number of the largest food service providers and will coordinate with them to provide you with our solution.

How is Nutricate's information different from nutrition information printed on a Web site or provided at the store?
The patented Nutricate™ System is the first receipt-based technology that provides personalized nutrition information about an individual's personalized order, including all modifications to, and customization of, menu items (if desired). The receipt also may include educational and promotional messages and coupons that are triggered by a customer's order.

Do my customers want to know nutrition information before they order?
Yes. Current disclosure methods, such as in-store nutrition guides and nutrition information on your Web site, are great methods for those customers who want to research basic information before ordering. However, crucial attributes to consumers such as complete meal totals and accurate % Daily Value figures are difficult to obtain before an order is placed. And according to the National Restaurant Association, more than 70% of customers modify their menu orders. As a result, giving customers meaningful, convenient and personal nutrition information prior to them ordering is operationally difficult. The Nutricate System successfully addresses these issues and enhances your overall nutrition disclosure program.

Will the Nutricate System affect my current operations?
The Nutricate System works independently of your Point of Sales (POS) system, so it doesn't affect your current operations. The Nutricate software simply reformats the receipt with the personalized nutrition information of your customer's order. It then adds other information that you specify and prints the receipt to your regular printer.

I have multiple POS sytems, can Nutricate work with all of them?
Yes, as an agnostic solution (see above) we can work with each of your different POS systems. Additionally, via our reporting system, Nutricate can aggregate data across all of your sites and different POS systems.

How does the Nutricate System work?
The system consists of a Nutricate Receipt Interceptor Computer (RIC) that is designed to conveniently fit under your existing POS thermal printer. The RIC contains all information necessary for printing of Nutricate receipts, including nutritional information of your menu items and all associated messaging. This information can be updated by you at any time through a simple web page.

When an order is entered into the POS system, the RIC receives the information, appends nutritional information and messaging to the order, reformats the information to make it visually appealing to your customers, and passes it on to the POS printer.

Is there any legal disclaimer to protect me from inconsistent portion sizes or changes in products that may alter the nutritional value of the menu item?
The Nutricate Receipt System is designed so that you can print a legal disclaimer on every receipt (either on the front or the back), protecting you from inconsistent portion sizes, substitute products from your distributor or variations in cooking methods that may alter the nutritional value of a menu item.

How do I collect nutrition information? Will you help?
